Hotblack Desiato has been home for the past 18 years out of the 28 years of being an Estate Agent. Employed as sales Manager in Camden, I’m still here. Having worked in Camden for so long my knowledge of the local area and the cross section of people who reside here is extensive. Everyday throws up something different, whether it is the changes in the economic climate, people wanting honest advise about their property, holding their hands to their next move or where is the nearest nail bar. When I am not at work, I enjoy my holidays in the sun with my family, watching my grandchildren growing, cooking and entertaining.
I started with Hotblack’s back in 2013 as a Lettings negotiator in the Highbury office and have progressed my way through the ranks and am now the proud Lettings Manager in the Camden office! Originally from Bath I am of course an avid Rugby fan but nothing is more important in the sporting world than my beloved Man Utd. I pride myself on being as friendly and honest as possible with my clients, this makes the whole lettings process much smoother and more enjoyable. I have a fantastic lettings team to work with so if you’re looking for a reliable agent to market your property, look no further.
Born and raised in North London, I have always loved the Camden area for its great vibes and character. I briefly worked in student property after leaving University in Leeds, but this was short lived as I couldn’t be kept away from London. After spending a couple of years working in the investments market, I decided that I wanted to be in an environment that still offered the excitement of a high paced business but at the same time would allow me to be out and about and meeting new people, face to face on a daily basis. I am really enjoying my time here in Camden at Hotblack Desiato – no one day is the same and I am constantly busy.
Originally from just outside Newcastle, I moved abroad in 2003 until my early 20’s and I’ve enjoyed calling London home ever since. A couple of years after moving to London, I decided to venture into the property industry as a lettings negotiator for a small independent company but after some time I realised that Sales was what I really wanted to do. I interviewed with the charming Paul Brooke at Hotblack’s Camden branch just before Christmas 2016 and I joined him and his lovely team in the New Year where I’ve found the work environment as well as Camden very pleasant. In my free time I enjoy socialising, travelling and watching my beloved Newcastle United. In business, I take a very conscientious approach; looking after my clients is my number one priority.
Camden Town has been a residential area since the 1790s (first developed by the Earl of Camden) and although we weren’t here then we have been here for over 30 years successfully selling, letting and managing properties. Located on Parkway we are in the hub of an area known for its eclectic mix of properties, the Market, the garden squares, restaurants and barsand naturally Regent’s Park and Primrose Hill.
